Earth Activist Training PDC | Nova Scotia, Canada

August 18 - September 1

$1995 – $2896

Earth Activist Training (EAT) teaches permaculture design with a grounding in spirit and a focus on organizing and activism, linking those who are creating positive alternatives for the future with those who are actively working for political change. Learn how to heal soil and cleanse water, how to design human systems that mimic natural systems using a minimum of energy and resources, and how to create real abundance and social justice. Permaculture has many tools to address the problems of climate change and environmental degradation, and this course focuses on solutions and positive approaches to the grave problems which confront us today.

An Earth Activist Training (EAT) course can set your life on a new path… or show you how to save the world. Green solutions are sprouting up all around us, but permaculture shows us how to weave them together into systems that can meet human needs and regenerate the natural world. EAT is practical earth healing with a magical base of ritual and nature awareness, teaching you to integrate mind and heart, with lots of hands-on practice and plenty of time to laugh.

This two-week intensive is a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course, offering the basic, internationally-recognized 72-hour permaculture curriculum with an additional focus on social permaculture, organizing tools, and spirit.

We believe learning should be interactive, participatory and experiential, so this course includes many hands-on projects, games, songs, exercises, discussions, and rituals as well as classroom time.

EAT teachers are deeply involved in organizing around climate change, anti-racism, and social justice as well as environmental issues.
