Sparks Of Change: Winter Solstice Ritual w/ Starhawk and Evelie Posch | Online

December 17, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Join Starhawk and sacred musician Evelie Delfino Såles Posch for a transformative Solstice journey through the darkness and into the light of inspiration and possibility.

Winter Solstice: The Longest Night Before the Return of the Light

This is the time of darkness and cold, a time to go inwards, to dream, to gestate new ideas. For many of us the last two years have been a time of enforced inwardness, of undesired isolation and sometimes welcome solitude. There have been moments of hope and joy—but perhaps you still feel an underlying dread about where our world is heading, what natural disasters and human malevolence may lie ahead.

Now we wonder—is the light really returning? Will there be a spark of change, a chance to ignite new possibilities?

In ancient times, the ancestors marked this season with standing stones and sacred carvings to track the path of the sun. We’re going to use guided trance work and music to chart our way through the dark, and back again into the light!

Your guides on this journey will be author, teacher, witch and ritual facilitator Starhawk, and sacred musician Evelie Delfino Såles Posch. Together we will travel into the deep caverns of the Old Ones to await the light. We will face our fears, release our despair, and open to those forces that can evoke inspiration and transformation.

Once you register, you will receive an email with instructions on how to prepare for our ritual together: both some personal reflection work you can do, and some suggestions for building your Solstice altar. This ritual will be recorded for those who can’t join live, and all registered participants will automagically receive the recording via email within 48 hours after the live ritual has concluded.

✨ Our ritual will feature ASL interpretation and closed captioning ✨
