Virtual Solstice Bonfire for Starhawk’s Birthday! | ONLINE

In this moment of the pandemic, the brutal police killings, the brutal response to protests, it feels more like a time for raging and grieving than for celebrating. Nonetheless, it is almost Summer Solstice, and on June 17, it will be my 69th birthday. Since I can’t do a party in person this year, I’ve asked some special friends to join me online, and you are invited.

We’ll gather around the virtual bonfire to celebrate a Solstice ritual, share some music, poetry, and stories of the inspiring work our Earth Activist Training students are doing to regenerate land and community.

Together we’ll raise some funds to support our Diversity Scholarships, trainings, and some of the groups offering direct support for the protests and racial justice work.
